while exporting the flash 8 file to quicktime movie iam getting the message like
"The installed version of does not support this type of macromedia flash movie. Quicktime requires macromedia flash version 5 or before." i have installed version 7 quicktime player(trial version) in my system. still iam getting the same message.

QuickTime can't open exported .swf files unless they are version 5 or lower.
When you "Publish" from Flash there is an option to set the version of the .swf file. Choose version 5 and this file can be opened using QuickTime.
