how do i delete movies that i have PURCHASED THRU MY APPLE TV, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH MOVIES I HAVE PURCHASED ON MY COMPUTER. there is a note on apple tv that says the content i purchased this way may ONLY BE VIEWED ON APPLE TV. now how do i delete them?

Nothing is stored on Apple TV. You will see that 'note' when making a rental as those can only be viewed on Apple TV.

As I said, if it is a rental it will not be available outside of the Apple TV.

If it was an actual purchase you will need to go to the iTunes store (on your computer) and download it from your purchase history.

make sure the email address on your computer itunes is the same as the email used on the appletv

Are you sure it was a purchase? The fact you received the above messege indicates it was a rental. The only other thing would be to verify the Apple ID, as the other poster suggested.

Then it is a rental, you cannot view it on another device nor download. It is Only available on the Apple TV and will expire after 24 or 48 hours (depending on location).
