Q: iPhone 4 Airplay with Apple TV

I am watching a show from an app on my iPhone 4 with the current iOS7 software. Why can I not see the show on my apple TV when I have airplay activated?

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1, AppleTV current software is updated

Not all apps are enabled for airplay, this is up to the developer to do
