shared movies not visible on ipad

I have 3 devices

2 pc's and I Ipad

all have home sharing turned on.

my problem is this

on PC 2 I can access and see shared movies/music from PC1 -- all good

on IPAD I can not see any shared movies but yet i can see all the shared music.

what gives.
