Netflix not streaming with 6.1 Apple TV update

My apple tv recenty automatically updated to 6.1 and since then Netflix is very poorly streaming - or most of the time not at all!

I was so frustrated I dumped the Apple TV and bought a Roku - works perfect.

Then I purchased another new Apple TV to see if the issue was with my original one - The new apple TV streamed fine..... Then I updated it as well to the new 6.1 and guess what? No more Netflix. ALL other apsects of the new (and old) apple tv are working fine.... just not the netflix

Using Comcast as cable provder.

Anyone else noticing this issue?

Power cycle the ATV and router.

i will try that but I have already power cycled the atv - nothing. the router will do later..... but when I used the NEW ATV with no router power cycling it worked fine..... non until the update when it stoppped working.

powering off the apple tv, disconnecting ethernet cable, powering off the router and modem while sacrificing a chicken facing north works for about a day, then the back to the same frustrating Netflix issue......go through the same motions, works for about a day....and so on.......

Anyone have any long term solutions besides Apple fixing the issue with a new update?

Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - general - network)

Make sure router is up to date. If it's older then 3-4 years that may be contributing to the issue
