Sort Safari Bookmarks

Apple made it easy to sort Bookmarks now.

Hope you have the Bookmarks in folder or folders.

Click the Book icon in the Safari Favorites Bar to unhide the gray sidebar.

Drag the Bookmarks folder on to the desktop left of the Safari window.

Drag it back to the side bar and drop where you see the thin blue line.

Now there will be two folders with identical names, one sorted and other not sorted.

Right click the unsorted one and select “Move to Trash”.

Right click the folder on the Desktop and select “Move to Trash”.

I'vetried that several times but if there are unfoldered addresses, they get sorted as well.

I finally just transported the unfoldered elements into into a separate folder, dragged the foldered addresses unto the desktop. went back to Safari and put the foldered addresses into a blank folder. I then dragged the desktop bookmark folders back into Safari, threw out the unsorted addresses in the blank folder, openned the folder containing the unfoldered addresses, and finally dragged each address into their proper likeness folder.

It was a long process and wish Apple Safari software gurus would fix a sorting process.
