While restoring replacement iPad from cloud got hung up restarted and all back up was gone, is there any way to get back up info after that happened?

I have only restored from an iCloud backup once and I did that more as an experiment. I use iTunes on my Mac as I don't totally resist any cloud server. I was under the impression that there should be three backups from which you can restore when you attempt to do this and I would assume that they would be your last three backups.


Were you provide with such an option?
