Edit picture size in notes

I use Notes all the time.. Especially in the medical class im taking... Sometimes I like to include pictures to help me remember what I want to remeber.. Sometime the pictures are just to huge. Is there any way to edit them in Notes?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Notes is not a full fledged word processor. I suggest using NeoOffice, LibreOffice, or OpenOffice instead, if managing text and images is something you want to do together, and do it inexpensively.
