ok - so I've output the same file about 15 times and you can say I'm very frustrated.
Is ther some reason why the automation wouldn't work with a UA Ocean Way plug in throgh (an updated) Logic X ?
So far in the last few months I've used the new Logic, Pro Tools is looking better and better all the time.
I've never had an issue with this ever. I've been using Logic Pro for years.
any help would be great.

I suspected it would be the plugin that you were using.. that just doesn't like offline bouncing as typically UA stuff doesn't... but needs to work/run in real time to work correctly...

It's a bit lsower of course. but the UA plug ins are so amazing... I don't care. just gald they work.

Quite a few plugins that need to "look ahead" also need to process in realtime for that reason.... certainly UA plugins are not the only ones this applies to... so yes, while it does 'suck' to a degree ... it makes sense for it to be so... because of how these plugins need to work and what they are trying to achieve in the process.
