this issues is really getting to me. its works perfectly fine when am recording on ableton but on logic the input is so low :/

How have you configured it in Logic? Which inputs are you using for example?

Pro 14 worked well here with LPX when I tested one with a client.. using his guitar as a mono input... so you must have a configuration issue somewhere....
Have you set Logic to a mono channel.... for that input...?

Create a new blank project and just try and create a mono track.... and test.. In case it is something else you have done to the existing project...
Also for the Pro 14.. check your Line/Input settings in MixControl for the input you are using...
yea input on mix control is hot and peaking but barely 2bars on logic used same setp on my friends pc on cubase not a problem i am sure i did something to logic or maybe updating mac software caused the problem:/
Was just having this problem, and you may have figured it out by now the way to fix it is to go to, Settings-->Sound-->Input, and to adjust the recording volume for your mic that your using. Recording should return to normal easily afterwards!
when i record i can barely hear anything and the input meter is barely reaching -34db even when the gain on my interface is turned all the way up on my interface
