Q: Two questions:

Hi Everyone,

Two things:

1.  I need to delete photos and videos from my iphone 4S so i can take more photos.  When you back up your photos and videos to icloud, where exactly does it get stored?  Can you go ahead and delete the photos and videos from your phone?

2.  My phone keeps telling me that I don't have enough storage on my iphone for backing up to icloud.  I purchased $40 additional storage and then i see two more charges for $20 each just ten days apart for more storage.  I thought these charges were annually charged.  Why was i charged three times....and i STILL don't have enough storage.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Backups to iCloud do not include video. Also, the backup is in the cloud. Your best thing to do before deleting these from the phone is to import them to the computer via the USB cable and the importing software you have with the computer. See this support document for a little help with that. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083

No much telling about teh storage. Besides that, the backup is done in the cloud, not on the phone. It could be that it needs to prepare the files for the backup and you don't have space to do that. As far as charges are concerned, you would need to ask Apple about that, and you are addressing other users here, not Apple. 1)  Import them to your computer as you would with any digital camera.  Then you can delete them.

The backup is just used to restore the info to your iphone in case of a crash.  You should be importing them to your computer regularly.

    2)  You cannot purchase additional storage for your iphone at all.  You purchased additional icloud storage, which has nothing to do with the storage on your iphone.

Contact itunes support about the additoinal charges
