Apr 5, 2014 3:31 PM in response to Dice911by lllaass,Are you sure Settings>iTunes and App store is signed into the account that purchased it? If not it will not show in Purchased and thus can't be redownloaded.
You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. The message is saying you are syncing with another computer/iTunes library.
If you want to make this computer our syncing computer:
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities

Apr 5, 2014 3:53 PM in response to lllaassby Dice911,I said that it appears under "Purchased" in iTunes, I said that I Do NOT want to sync, as it will wipe out everything currently on my pod. I have the pod set for Manual file management. When you say Settings>itunes do you mean on my ipod or on itunes on my pc?

Apr 6, 2014 5:06 PM in response to lllaassby Dice911,I have tried that. It shows up in my library unber both "Books" and "Purchases". i double-click on it and it says "You can view the book using iBooks on your iPad". Great. But I try to drag and drop it into the Pad and it just won't go. I also tried D/Ling it directly tob the Pad and it says "You do not have any purchased books available for download". I'm really stumped.

Apr 7, 2014 2:30 AM in response to Dice911by lllaass,Regarding redownloading, is the iPod associated with the device that ourchased them? See:
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
Regarining syncing, it appears that this is not your suyncing computer. You can only sync with ne computer.
You can try by using a third-party program like iFuneBox
