apple never emailed back

Yesterday i was on the phone with apple, the guy i was speaking

to told me to send a proof of purchase (for my icloud locked phone )

So after all this he said i should recive a email within 24 hrs i dont know what the email would say but i never recived it does thos mean im screwed
