Ipad says it's disabled

When I turn on my Ipad, after downloading an update, the Ipad tells me it's disabled and that I should connect to Itunes. How do I do that? Do i have to do that on a computer? Looking for help.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 6
