After upgrade Maverick

Is there anyone same had a problems with after upgarde from 10.68 to maverick imovie sim like don't want to work ,even cannot open the project to view ,and keeping on reboot .and will it course to damage my mac ,and how can i fix it ,no more any other new update after 2 Apr 14 .and also the update of number and page stll downloading from two days ago until now ,keep going over and over again non stop still cannot install.

i need my mac to work !! before upgrade imovie was working very well ,what can i do ,please help !!many thanks.
