Help…Photo Booth cannot recognize my built in Mac camera (ISight). I have reset both SMU and PRAM, I have re-installed the original Applications disk. I have reinstalled Maverick. I have ran and repaired "Disk Permissions".

ISight is recognized in System Information under USB Device Tree. The camera will work only one other program but not Photo Booth, Skype, IChat, Imovie etc. I am missing the com.apple.photobooth.plist file under home/library/preferences, could that be my problem, if so how do I rebuild the file? Your feedback is sincerely appreciated.

Try the User Tip suggestions first. Your system does need a plist, but a properly working OS X automatically generates any needed plist fileswhen you launch the associated app (if its plist does not already exist.)
