Can't sign into my apple ID to update apps

I am trying to update my apps from the app store but it seems as if my mothers email address is in the box after I click download when it says sign into your apple ID. It is ghosted (meaning I can't change it) but I am signed in on the app store under my Apple ID. This does not make sense why her email address is in there and mine is not. Now I can't update my apps becuase I can't put my apple ID in there. Please help me. Thanks.

You are seeing her Apple ID because she must have bought the app that you need to update with her Apple ID. Only her Apple ID can update apps that she bought. There is no way to change that. If you want this app to be in your Apple ID, you need to delete the app and buy it with your Apple ID.
