Please help! With purchased music, sure, it all shows up and I can listen to it or download it from the cloud, on to my iphone, but last night I imported a cd on to my MacBook. I tried what I did in the old days, dragging the new songs over to the iphone, but the message came up thst I couldn't because of iTunes Match. I am so confused. Please help!

I should add that also, back in the old days, you could choose which songs to import when the iPhone was connected to MacBook. Now I don't see that option, instead it is all supposed to be done through iTunes Match. Which works with purchased music but not with imported CDs, as far as I can figure! Help! Thank you!
With iTunes Match enabled on an iOS device traditional syncing of music via USB is disabled. All music management takes place directly on the iOS device.
When you add new music to an iTunes library that has iTunes Match enabled, that music will be scanned for matching or uploading and will then shortly show up on the iOS device. Is iTM enabled in iTunes?

Instead of disabling iTunes Match on the iPhone and syncing via USB, why not make sure the service is actually running in iTunes? This will ensure that all new music is automatically added to the cloud so it will be available on your iPhone.
