I just bought Ipad Air. Its working all fine. But its not opening iTunes Store. Whenever I open iTunes, it gives an error "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". Although my App Store is working all fine and I can download and install apps perfectly. Its just iTunes which is not opening. I have checked my wifi modem and its working fine. Everything is working on my iPad and PC except iTunes. I have also checked settings for Restrictions but they are all set to not restricted. Please help

Hello there, teeeaay.

It seems that you were referred to us from the very article that provides steps for troubleshooting your issue:

Can't connect to the iTunes Store

http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1368

These are the most pertinent sections for the issue you're describing:

Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:

  • Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
  • Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clickingCheck for Updateon your device's Summary page.
  • Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
  • Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
  • Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
  • Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
  • If the issue persists, trytroubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

If the steps above didn't resolve your issue, be sure that your specific alert isn't listed as a possible iTunes Store error. Then, if your issue is still unresolved, follow these steps.

Thanx pedro for your advice. But it haven't resolved my problem.

I have tried everything mentioned above but none of it works.

The thing which I cannot understand is that everything else except iTunes is working perfectly. I can access and download apps from App Store and Podcast. It's only iTunes which isn't working. So it's definitely not a problem of Date and Time or wifi settings.

Still searching for a helpful answer.
