Q: I get a messge that says I am in the ireland app store ans need to switch to the U.S. store

I get a messge that says I am in the ireland app store and need to switch to the U.S. store. How did I get there in the first place and how do I switch back?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1

    Change the App Store country -

    Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.
