how do i connect my time capsule using a home plug

I Have had a TC for a while and works fine. I recently had a shuffle about and moved the TC upstairs to increase the strength of the WiFi. I connected to the router with a home plug and all seemed well. However, two hours have passed and now the TC is no longer recognised a=or seen on the netwrok, even though nothing has changed. What do I do?
