Double underline a cell in Pages
Hello all, I'm sure it's been asked before but I can't see how to do it. It's a very basic requirement for financial reports. Thank you

There isn't a double line for the cell, but you can double underline the numbers:
select the numbers > Menu > Format > Font > Show Fonts > Underline (1st icon on Toolbar) > double
You can also change the color of the underline by selecting color fter you choose the underline.
You can make this a Character Style with its own FKey shortcut.

Thanks peter for your response, but it's the cells I need to double underline. The choices in the border box are very limited compared with excel. Regards
I had a look in Pages '09 and Numbers but it is the same, just a single rule.
LibreOffice [free] has what you want, plus much more.

I'm not sure I understand what would be wrong with underlining the text with a double line. I would eliminate all the cell borders and just use text underlining, single or double, as required.
