Q: I am lost on setting up my ipod touch... Do you have to have wi-fi??

I got an iPod Touch yesterday and when I turned it on I selected my language and country then it says Choose a Wi-Fi Network then I press Connect to iTunes cause I don't have wi-fi and it says continue without wi-fi and I press continue and it pops up a screen that says Connect to iTunes with a pic of a USB cord pointing to this cirle in the middle with a music note that says iTunes.... What do I do??

iTunes

The image means that you need to connect the iPod with its cable (the same one as you have/will use for charging it) to a USB port on your computer - if you don't have iTunes installed on your computer (or not an up-to-date version) then you can download it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

You can also download a manual for your iPod from here : http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/ipod_touch_user_guide.pdf - it contains a brief 'getting started' section and (short) chapters on each of the built-in apps.

What shows nothing else ? You've clicked on the 'Download Now' button that that site and downloaded iTunes, and you've then clicked on the downloaded file and installed iTunes on your computer ?
