Apr 6, 2014 1:42 PM in response to Krazypandas10by King_Penguin,The image means that you need to connect the iPod with its cable (the same one as you have/will use for charging it) to a USB port on your computer - if you don't have iTunes installed on your computer (or not an up-to-date version) then you can download it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You can also download a manual for your iPod from here : http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/ipod_touch_user_guide.pdf - it contains a brief 'getting started' section and (short) chapters on each of the built-in apps.
