VPN to multiple-display Windows computer

I have a friend who is considering switching to Mac. He will need to use VPN to connect to his work computer, which is a multiple-display Windows machine.

Will he be able to do that using a Mac? At times, he'll be running Windows with Parallels on his Mac. At other time he'll be using OS X.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), 2.66GHz, 6GB RAM

Do you have any experience making a VPN connection to a dual-display Windows computer?

as I said..it wouldn't matter anyway how many displays the computer has because VPN is related to nothing but network connectivity. A VPN, or any other network connection knows nothing about displays or how many are connected. They are completely unrelated to each other. What you should be concerned about is how the remote desktop software you use interprets multiple displays.
