Picture captions

I'm doing a newsletter which has several pictures in it. I'd like to have a caption below each picture (e.g., "Smith, eating a hamburger.") Does anyone know how to (or can I?) put a caption under a picture. Do I have to create a text box? I had no luck searching for "captions" or "picture captions" in Pages Help. I wondered if there was a separate function.

Thanks!

Lindsay,

yes, add a text box and move it below your image. You need to have both the image's and the text box's placement set to "Fixed on page". I'd also suggest to group the text box and the image to keep both together when moving them around.
