iTunes could not recover my iPad mini and gave out the error message 3194. What should I do?

No. I called Apple support center and they said maybe my anti virus blocked so apple could not connect to their server to verify my device. I turned off firewall and real times scan of MacAffee but did not solve the problem.
I recommend one more step - turn off McAfee completely (not only the real-time scan) while trying the update. Wait until the update completes before turning it on again.
I don't know how to turn off MacAffee unless I uninstall it. Do you know how to turn it off?
I haven't used it for several years. But back then, as I remember, if you open McAfee, there is a way to turn it off from its window.
I turned it off through Start Up programs of Windows control setting but McAffee still runs after restart my PC

Now when I plug my phone into my PC, iTunes treats my phone as new or restore from previous back up version. I plugged the phone into my PC before and used iTunes to back it up at leat once. When I click to access my phone, iTunes asked for my permission and on the phone screen displayed 'trust this computer'? How weird. No 'back up' option because iTunes still think my phone is new.
I tried to update my iPad mini to iOS 7.1 using my PC. Then iTunes said that my device is in recovery mode but can't recover my device. What should I do?
