Can I trade my broken headphones at the apple store??

I just put my headphones in and only one eat was working? Is it possible I can trade it in for a new one at the apple store?

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.1

If faulty Apple will consider under warranty ,if you have damaged or misused then buy new ones

They aren't. I just pressed play and only one ear was working. But they were working fine all day.

so take to an Apple Store and let the genius bar check them out, they are still under warranty if they came with a 5C

First check there is no fluff or debris in earphone socket and that if clear the plug is fully inserted
