Roland UA-22 with Garageband

Hi:

I'm thinking about buying the Roland ua-22 for use with my iPad and my Macbook. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this product or similar products (2 XLR inputs).

My questions:

1. Any experience using this with iPad Garageband?

2. Any experience using other similar products?

3. Will 2 XLR inputs in the Roland be treated as 2 separate tracks in Garageband that I can mix separately?

BTW, couldn't find a forum for Garageband with iPad....
