iTunes 11 recognizing TV Shows as movies?

Is there any way to get iTunes to recognize my TV shows actually as TV shows so it goes there in the sidebar? Everything thats not downloaded in itunes goes straight to the movies tab. I saw that in older versions you were able to use a check box or drop down menu but it doesn't let you do that now. Thanks!
