GW,
When you get a chance, how about saying a few more words about what you need to do?
Jerry
1. If you have got an URL in your document and it is not a link > select just the text of the URL > Toolbar > Insert > Add Link
2. Select the text of the URL > Insert > Edit Link
or
right click on the URL > Edit Link > Display: change to what you want

I copy articles from a newspaper
I copy remarks too
each remark has a link to an adress where you can 'claim' against odd remarks.
i want to get rid of all those link-remarks at once, not one by one.
So I used to let Pages search for those link-remarks and then substituted them with nothing.
It worked fine that way in the earlier Pages-version before 5.
Since this new version it is impossible for me to get that result or I got to do this one by one.
For example:
21:45
CAN NOT BE FOUND AND THEN SUBSTITUTED BY PAGES 5.2
Then use Pages '09, what is stopping you?
Peter
Thank you for your responses.
Since I updated to Pages 5.0/5.1
and not glad with it
I did return to use '09
But now I got/get new problems that were not there before.
When I imported/copied text from Microsoft Word...
Pages '09 fell away, would not accept it, and I had to restart, again and again.
So I thought: give it a try again with Pages 5.2.
Maybe it has changed to the better.
But as far as I can see now,
it has become a program that is very user-UNfriendly,
compared with '09.
I never needed help with that version..
