Q: I have moved from the USA to a UK based i tunes account.  Have I now lost everything I bought in the USA?  I have tried to download a movie I purchased about 6 months ago and it won't let me do it.

I am trying to download a film I bought a few months ago (which is still a current movie on itunes) onto my i-pad from my i-tunes library.

I have moved from a USA based i-tunes account recently to a UK based account.  Does this mean I have lost all my purchases I made in the USA?

    As well as being tied to the account, content is also tied to the country that it was bought it - you won't be able to potentially redownload your USA purchases unless you return to the US and have a US billing address on your account.

     

    Have you not got a copy of all of your downloads on your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library ?
