My iPod shuffle has just been through a 60C wash.
No vital signs on it. Anything I can do? Its light doesn't come on, nor does it make any sound at all.

You should not try to use it, if it has water on the inside. The water causes short circuits and may cause more damage.
Let it sit in a warm dry place with ventilation for at least a few days (even a week), to let the moisture evaporate. I heard putting it in a bowl of dry rice helps draw out the moisture (never tried it). Aftrer the moisture is gone, it may (?) work.
