i just re-downloaded i tunes, it won't even start. Please help.

Do you get an error message when you try to launch iTunes? If so, what does it say? (Precise text, please.)

No message at all, i click on the itunes icon on the desktop, the blue circle appears for 1 second then disappears, nothing happens...
I forgot, i'm on windows 8...
Also flash player won't install updates, don't know if it could be linked...
