I'm having trouble merging calls when I try to do a 3-way call. I can make the two separate calls but the "merge" button is always grayed out. I have the service through my provider and an iPhone 4s. Thanks for any help!

That is a carrier issue. Contact the carrier to ensure the account is provisioned correctly.
Thanks, diesel vdub...I actually did contact the carrier and everything was a-ok on their end. Any other suggestions?
