IPOD Shuffle

Hi,

Just purchased one for my daughter, this is now the fourth - wife and 2 other kids have one, however new one will not allow to be recognised however it makes a noise when connected, however not the single beep, its more like 2 unpleasent noises. Is there a restirction on the number of Shuffles that can be added? each of the other when connected defaulted to the family name Ipod Shuffle, any ideas here? PS other been connected since and these continue to be recognised.

Thanks D

There is no restriction to the number of iPods that can be connected to one iTunes library. It would be a good idea to give each iPod its own unique name (as shown in iTunes). On a Windows PC, I think you have to make sure each iPod had its own drive letter.

Are all the shuffles the same model? This document shows the four shuffle types
