SMTP servers send mail, they do not receive it.
What are you having a problem with, sending or receiving?
Thanks for your prompt response. I can't receive mail. I can send only. I was receiving OK the previous night, Sunday, April 6th. But yesterday, Monday April 7th messages were kicked back to senders as undeliverable. I sent to several emails from another email address to dnjames and those "test " messages were met with the below info:

I am having problems with sending...they just sit in the outbox. The message says "not connected to server". I am receiving mail ok.
Who is your email provider?
It's a very bad idea to publish email addresses on a public site, spammers love a confirmed address or 2.
I'll ask for them to be deleted.
Thank you,
I am having the same problem... I reported to Apple support. they are aware. message boards are very active today with this same issue affecting alot of users.
