selling my old mac book pro. I need to delete everything on the hard drive. any ideas ?I do not have the boot disks.
What model is it and what version of OS X?
If the Mac came w/system DVDs, you will need to obtain them prior to selling.
You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.
