itunes and iphone error 3194 issue

Hi everyone. I have an issue with my itunes/iphone coming up with error 3194 and This device isnt eligible for the requested build.


I had just downloaded the latest IOS (7 I think)...


I have googled the errors and followed instructions:


Updated software

Updated itunes

I have checked my entire computer and ensured all updates are completed

I have checked my terminal to ensure gs.google was not there (which it was not)

I have tried on 3 macs


... but still no luck.


My iphone is stuck plug visual to itune icon.


Any assistance would be appreciated please.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1

Hey there REELDirect,


It sounds like your phone is unresponsive and will not complete a restore. Try resetting the device with this process from the article named:


Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.


If the issue persists, try placing the device into recovery mode again, and restoring one more time:


If you can't update or restore your iOS device
