My iTunes keeps deleting all my playlists when I open it on my Macbook. It's getting really frustrating!

Randomly when I open my itunes on my Macbook, it deletes all my playlists. My library is still there, but my playlists are gone. Has anyone else had this problem? It's getting really frustrating. I do have my iPad and iphone set up to sync wirelessly when I open my itunes. Could this be the problem?
