My Mac powered down and when it turned back on it tells me to do 4 options such a time machine a back up, reinstall mavericks on a disk, look online, or repark disk utility; none of these options work though. Help..

I'm so confused.

Those options usually appear when you hold down <alt> at startup. They will also appear if there is no system disk available.

It sounds like there is a problem with your internal disk.

You say "None of these options work". Have you tried all of them? Have you tried to repair or verify the disk in Disk Utility? (NB, repair disk, not permissions.) Is the disk OK?

Have you tried to restore a back up from Time Machine? What happened?

Also, what model Mac is this, e.g. 2010 MacBook Pro, 2009 iMac, etc.
