GPS Inoperative

I friend let me borrow his iPad Location services/GPS were no working. Whenever I went to to maps "Cannot get location". I tried enabling and disabling location service with no luck.

I made an appointment at the apple store. They flicked locaton services on and off. Pesto, they came back on. It did not look like they did anything different from what I tried.

On the drive home, I followed on the map.

I get home and location services hae died.

I tried flicking on and off with no luck.

Any ideas what might be wrong or how to correct this?
