Thats just it, my friend. I didn't put them on there. I work in the architecture and geographic mapping fields and this common documents folder had various projects pieces from both of the before mentioned. When I said I have no idea...I really meant it. I hadnt opend any of these on any apple product before. I am going to take a couple of snippets to show you.

If I can't locate them elsewhere (which I have been trying to do), what program might I use to save them one by one into another area so I can sync them back to my pc?

If I can find them ALL...then I will delete them but so far its there they RIP (hopefully not).

And sorry for the NO IDEA thing. it was true and I was frustrated.User uploaded file

I have no idea how you put them there (which program you used) thus I have very few ideas about how to get them back. I assumed you would know what you saved the files with.

But if they were put there with an iCloud compliant application copies will be found in the ~/library/mobile documents folder. If they are not there I suggest using icloudrive. This will allow the iCloud storage to be mounted (as a drive) on your Mac and you will be able to copy or move files from it.

Moving files on iCloud in this manner can have unintended consequences so, do not move them using icloudrive, copy them and then delete the iCloud set using the iCloud control panel.
