Can I use my european 2009 iMac in the US?

I am moving from Israel to the US.

I read that you can use your iMac in any country as long as you have an adapter or a local iMac cable. Is this true for older versions of the iMac?

I purchased mine in 2009. the model identifier is iMac10,1.

Would it be possible for me to use my mac in the US with an adapter? Will I need to change something in my settings or hardware?

Thank you very much to whoever replys!!!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), European, 2009

Yes, the power supply is universal in voltage and frequency, 100-240 volts at 50-60 Hz. All you need is a plug to outlet adapter...or you can even use a US power cord in place of the European cord so you do not need the adapter. A standard computer cord will work with the iMac.
