How to add Canon C7055 Printer

I recently was having trouble with my canon c7055 network printer being stuck at "sending job" in print queue. I tried to troubleshoot the issue but, I ended up deleting the entire printer. My question is "how do I go about reinstalling the printer" also my office uses the "CUPS" interface. Please HELP! I am using a imac os x mavericks.
