Q: Numbers 3.2 still deletes page headers
Number 3.2 still removes page headers from spreadsheets created in N'09 (2.3) and previous versions upon opening. I have submitted three bug reports about this since Numbers 3.0 but this continues to happen. I see that you can add header rows finally (which I think of as different from page headers). But to do that I need to open a spreadsheet in 09, copy the headers, open the spreadsheet in 3.2, add header rows, paste in my headers, reformat as necessary. Doable but a pain if you have a lot of spreadsheets. Why don't the exisiting spreadsheets open in the 3.0+ Numbers with the same content they had in 09? Am I missing something? I have discussed this on the forums before so I don't think I am. This seems like a true design flaw to me. I can submit examples of this.
I am on an iMac running 10.9.2 and Numbers 3.2.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

As I was converting one of my spreadsheets from N'09 to N'3.2 and adding those header rows I spoke about and copying and pasting I stopped and sent the post above. Then I went back and continued with that process. When I did a quick print to PDF to see how the formatting would look, there on the pdf was my freaking header, (now doubled because I added the header rows etc)! So it appears that at least in 3.2 the headers are not removed, they are moved and not visable until printed. Perhaps this is new to 3.2 I don't know. The Help system does not mention it when you search on headers and footer. It only talks of spreadsheet headers and footers. But there is a vague mention of it in a document called Print a Spreadsheet. I haven't investigated anything about it yet but I wanted to reply to my own postso that no one would waste their time answering me. Also hopefully some of the many other people who were having this problem before will see my answer and save themselves some trouble.
