Can't change default application

Greetings,

When I double click or select "open" a photo file (tif, jpg, nef, etc) , Photoshop CS6, not Photoshop CC, is launched, even if I am in Bridge CC. If I go to the "Get Info" and change the "open with" to Photoshop CC and select "Change All" it simply goes back to the Photoshop CS6 default. What am I misssing?
