keypad wear

A few weeks ago I asked if it was possible to get worn keys changed under Apple Care to be told it was cosmetic and Apple wouldn't do it. Well the answer is persevere because I have just had the key board or more accurately the whole top cover replace free of charge. Quite why Apple keys wear beats me (now the second) but at least with a little pressure they wil change it under warranty
