video conversion problems

all videos play properly on itunes, but when converted they lose their audio when played on ipod.pls. help.

I also used iTunes to convert videos and had the same problem.

Use iSquint to convert videos:
http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Video/iSquint.shtml

It is free software, but you can only use .mov format to .mp4, i think.

That's MAC software . . . not Windows (which the original poster says he has). Do a google search for iPod video conversion. You'll find more than you can shake a stick at.
