4s becomes extremely hot when charging AND turns on and off erratically

First issue: 4s on software version 7.0.6 when plugged in to charge it becomes extremely hot and does not charge.

Second issue: Phone is erratically turning on and off, when turning off it goes to a black/silver screen. Turns on normally. Usage is abnormal upon some starts and normal upon others.

Both issues just started today. No prior issues or problems.

Please help!!!!
