RICOH Aficio MP 5001 and Mavericks?

I tried installing the printer, by specifiying the IP address. When I print all I get is "%!PS-Adobe-3.0 Query userdirect.... and a bunch of other crap." then about 20 blank pages spew out.

Im guessing it is trying to print Postscript, but failing. My IT guys are completely useless since they don't touch anything mac.
